This modern armchair called Tron armchair is a continuation of the collaboration between Walt Disney Signature and Cappellini, who jointly introduced a line of Disney-inspired limited-edition chairs at the Milano Design Village earlier this year. The range of chairs is inspired by the the digital landscape of the Outlands terrain in the soon-to-be-released Walt Disney Pictures film TRON: Legacy. Each will be individually hand-finished and unique, constructed of composite material consisting of impregnated fiberglass with polyester resin processed with manual layering. A mass-produced 100% recycled roto-molded plastic version will be available next year. Cappellini and Walt Disney Signature present a series of armchairs designed by Studio Dror for Cappellini launching this week during Design Miami 2010.
