One of the latest works of japanese designer hiroaki matusyama’s, ie bench made from both ends of the carpet, designer hiroaki matusyama’s newest project ’snowroll’ uses the behaviour of rolling a snowball, as a means of creating an adaptable piece of furniture. the furniture object is literally a large, lengthy white piece of carpet which the user unrolls and rolls from either end to create, ‘benches’ – you can adjust the height of the seats according to how much you roll them. the result is a comfortable seating space for two, allowing room for a small table. alternatively, The furniture is perfect for those who has a dynamic lifestyle because it serves several purposes at once without occupying a lot of space. that’s why different designers from furniture companies try to create a something simple and outstanding.
